Ok so apparently Apple has made it to where if you get the screen repaired or replaced like in my case then the lines are no long straight…im gonna kill all thoses greedy fuckers one day (kidding of course) but in all seriousness Apple needs to be sued cause this is 100%anti consumer

What do you mean no longer straight? If you’re using an app like Procreate you can use a function to create straight lines. There are also settings in the brushes to allow you to draw smooth lines in case you have funky hardware or you have shaky hands (like me).

Well no u see i. Can draw straight lines but. Apple made it to where if you get you’re screen replaced then the Apple Pencil lines will be wonky and they are now it’s to ensure you don’t use 3rd party retailers to fix your screen

@Grimmsketch I’ll take your word for it. It hasn’t happened to me, but I switched from Wacom to Apple as Wacom is far more expensive and prone to breaking… and they won’t do anything about it.

Try the brush settings anyway if you use Procreate. Hopefully it helps a bit.

Well miss I know what ye is saying but I think I were to show ya ye’d undstand so https://www.youtube.com/shorts/0sWmBNj6Eok
This vid explains and demonstrates the issue

@Grimmsketch I see. That’s definitely an issue - the brush settings might still help to mitigate it though. Hope you get it fixed somehow.

I can’t get it fixed sadly I think the only option is buying a new iPad and getting another procreate…of well i can deal with it

@Grimmsketch I don’t think you have to purchase Procreate again. If you get a new iPad you use the same login info from the old one.

Yeah but my control freak of a stepmom and scum bag of an dad has my info and i wann get away from em so ya know
